FEASIBILITY STUDY
We evaluate the viability of your project through the review of existing building conditions, site assessment, and research of local building and zoning codes. We outline design practicality, constraints, and challenges. The goal is to provide you with a clear idea of what can be built so that you can feel empowered in making a confident, informed decision about whether the project is worth pursuing with the necessary investment of time, money, and resources.
Following a Feasibility Study, we can provide Conceptual Design or Architectural Design + Documentation services.

CONCEPTUAL DESIGN
We help you visualize the potential of your home with sketches and images that convey the “big ideas” of your project. The goal is to provide a clear direction for design that can be further explored with the Architectural Design + Documentation services.
FROM CONCEPT TO COMPLETION
ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN + DOCUMENTATION
Programming is the foundation of design and we take the time to understand you individually and in the context of your home. Working together, we identify priorities, goals, values, and challenges and discuss the size, location, function, flow, and adjacencies of spaces. The gathering of this information clearly defines the design criteria.
Through client-architect collaboration, we refine design ideas per your program — from schematic design sketches to more detailed design development plans. Design is finalized during the construction documentation phase and these drawings are suitable for pricing, permit submission, and the construction of your project.
Throughout the entire process, structural design is an integral part of our services and consultation with structural engineers is ongoing for a cohesive and comprehensive design. Likewise, we work closely with civil engineers to ensure site issues and contraints are addressed early on in the process and the proposed design is coordinated and documented properly.
CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATION
Once the design documentation is complete, we guide you through the construction of your project. Our involvement during construction varies with each project and may include site visits, fielding contractor questions, and providing construction clarification. It is our goal that the design you fell in love with is realized in the built form.
